9th graders- Study hard for your finals so that you may earn your credits to become a sophomore. You
need five. You can earn .5 credits for each ½ year class. You pass with the exception of Gym, which is .25 credits and Home
Ec., which is .625.
10th graders- You need ten credits to be a Junior. If you have earned ten credits by June you will be
promoted to the 11th grade.
11th graders- Start studying for your ACT and SAT exams if you intend to go to a four year university.
You can get study guides at the library or you can buy a CD for your computer. Investigate colleges and scholarships online
at www.collegeboard.com, www.fastweb.com, www.DMCSP.org. Obtain applications from schools you are considering and VISIT THE CAMPUS.
12th graders- Congratulations! You have made it through high school. We look forawrd to all your graduation
ceremony, awards assembly, Baccalaureate and Commencement on June 2.
9th-11th graders- This summer VOLUNTEER at your neighborhood center, church parks, hospital
or just for a neighbor who needs help. Keep track of your hours. Many scholarships want students who have a history of volunteering.
