JoJo is an up and coming artist in the game. If you heard this girl's voice, you would have thought she was about thirty or so years old, but she is only thirteen. Her first single off of her highly anticipated album is a good one. She almost sounds like a Mariah, or an Aaliyah (R.I.P). I am really not surprised by her sound, because Barry Hankerson, head of BlackGround Records (Aaliyah's uncle) has put out a lot of good artists, but they all haven't stayed strong. By Aaliyah's passing, JoJo may just be that artist to get them back on the map.

A way to set these guys apart from other bands is how they are very eclectic in their musical style. They have awesome rockish-punkish music with a twist of a classic violin. Their recently released album, Ocean Avenue, is really worth buying. Several of the songs on the album are from a personal point of view. These songs have reflected all different areas of their lives including a break up, a friend leaving, and September 11th. Another great thing about this band is how positive they are towards giving the message of living your life positively and in your own way. I highly recommend buying the album.

The only thing I can really tell you about New Found Glory's new album "Catalyst" is the release date. It will be released May 18th, 2004. Please, if you are a NFG fan go pick up the album. Besides the tracks, which I know will be awesome, the CD is enhanced meaning there is tons of footage you can watch. Also, when the CD is put into your computer, you can go on-line and unlock even more awesome extras.

New Found Glory has definitely changed, look wise. They look more mature and of course there are tons more tattoos. They have released their first single called "All Downhill from Here". The video is in rotation on MTV. I'm not sure if FUSE has picked it up, but keep an eye out for it.

The 1970s TV series, Starsky and Hutch, is a really good movie, starring Ben Stiller as Starsky, Owen Wilson as Hutch, and Snoop Doggy Dog as Huggy Bear. Snoop Doggy Dog played the perfect Huggy Bear, Starsky and Hutch's inside info guy that keeps all the info on the low. My momma said that you would have to have lived in the decade to really enjoy the movie

The Passion of the Christ was a very moving and life-changing movie. It makes you look at life in a totally different point of view. The movie simply tells the story of how Jesus was brutally beaten and killed. He was accused of doing miracles. He was "proven" guilty, as some people would say. For me personally it was hard to sit and watch the movie without crying. The gruesome-ness of this movie is indescribable. I know that this movie has been out for quite a while and most of you have probably seen it already. If you have not seen it I would recommend that you do go and see it. I cannot find the words to describe how detailed and sad this movie is. I have to say that the $8.50 to see Passion of the Christ is worth every single penny. Whether you attend church or even just believe in God at all I still would give you the advice to see it. Passion of the Christ is a very breath-taking movie.
